Plum Market, an upscale local grocery chain, will open a cafe and retail store in the Henry Ford-Detroit Pistons Performance Center under construction in Detroit's New Center area, the Detroit Free Press reports.
The facility is scheduled to open in June 2019 as as a training center and corporate headquarters for the Pistons.
Plum Market will also become the team's food service providers.
Zingerman's of Ann Arbor will sell products and brewed coffee inside the market, just south of West Grand Boulevard and the Amtrak station.
"This partnership will be great for our team, our employees and for the community, making New Center even more attractive to additional investment," Pistons owner Tom Gores says in a handout.
