Novelist Who Grew Up in Metro Detroit Thrilled to be Quoted by Stephen King

It's not everyday you get a shout from legendary author Stephen King.

But that's just what happened to novelist Allison Leotta, a former federal prosecutor who grew up in Franklin and Farmington Hills and now lives in suburban D.C.

Leotta, who has authored three books, one of them being, "The Last Good Girl," has caught the eye of King. And she's thrilled about it, writing on Facebook:

"Stephen King just quoted my book in an argument against Trump. That’s it. My life is complete."

She posts King's tweet on Facebook:
