It's good to see the camp of Rep. John Conyers' pointing fingers at others to divert attention.

Conyers’ Detroit attorney Arnold Reed is demanding to know why Democratic lawmakers have called for Minnesota Sen. Al Franken, a Democrat, to step down in light of his sexual harassment allegations, reports The Detroit News.

“At the end of the day, Nancy Pelosi is going to have to explain, what is the discernible difference between Al Franken and John Conyers?” Reed told reporters.

“You have to ask Nancy Pelosi and the rest of them who are putting this pressure on the congressman and not these other individuals.”

No Senate Democrats have called on Franken to step. Lawmakers on the Hill have demanded that Conyers step down.

Some may agree with Reed, though allegations involving Conyers are work-related and Franken's misbehavior was many years before he won office.
