Mark Wahlberg and family are partnering with Meijer to bring more of their their burger restaurants, Wahlburgers, to Michigan and Ohio, Kurt Nagl of Crain's Detroit Business reports.
The restaurants will be in parking lots near Meijer stores.
Wahlburgers currently has a shop in Greektown in Detroit and plans to open one in Royal Oak.
As part of the partnership, Meijer will sell products from Performance Inspired Nutrition,co-founded founded by Wahlberg. He promotes the partnership Friday morning with appearances the Michigan chain's Taylor and Royal Oak stores.
