A man faces a detention hearing Thursday in U.S. District Court in Detroit after being charged with sexually assaulting a sleeping woman aboard a Spirit Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Detroit on Wednesday, Robert Snell of The Detroit News reports.

Prabhu Ramamoorthy is charged with aggravated sexual abuse, a five-year felony.

The woman said she was in a window seat next to Ramamoorthy when she fell asleep, only to wake up and discover his hand in her pants. She says her pants and shirt were unbuttoned.

The woman told the FBI that he shoved his fingers in her vagina and vigorously moved them, according to a federal criminal complaint.
