It's not gourmet dining, but it's dining nonetheless. Checkers & Rally's plan to open 59 stores in the next six to 10 years in Southeast Michigan, Dana Afana of MLive reports.
The fast food company currently operates 45 sites in Metro Detroit and 75 in Michigan.
"We want to avoid Grosse Pointe and Novi, where there's a very high income," says Bruce Kim, director of franchise development. "You have a lot of calorie counters with folks looking for salads."
