Red Wing goalie Petr Mrazek, who was recently traded to the Philadelphia Flyers for two draft picks, is doing just great.

The 26-year-old is already 3-0 in the orange and black, with a .947 save percentage (72 saves on 76 shots) and 1.30 goals-against average, writes Marlowe Alter of the Detroit Free Press.

Philly is excited. A couple days after the trade, Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Sam Carchidi wrote:

Petr Mrazek was once considered a rising star, someone who looked as if he would become one of the NHL’s elite goalies.

He’s young enough to still reach that status.

The Flyers are in first place in the Metropolitan Division with 78 points.
