The Detroit Pistons and coach Stan Van Gundy have parted ways, ESPN writer Adrian Wojnarowski reports, citing an unnamed source.
Since coming to Detroit in 2014, the team has only been to the playoffs once, but it didn't go anywhere. His second season, the team went 44-38, which has been the only winning season.
Detroit News columnist Bob Wojnowksi tweeted the other day that it's time for Van Gundy to leave.
