Video: Ex-WDIV Reporter Recounts Her 'Agony' from Breast Implants

May 21, 2018, 8:47 AM

Tracy Gary, WDIV's former traffic reporter, talks openly about an ordeal she says was a result of 1998 breast implants.

"The last eight years have been agony for her," the station reports. She's suffered from chronic fatigue, depression, hair loss and other mental health issues.

"I don't know how I survived this, honest to God. The depression is the absolute worst thing I've ever gone through," Gary tells colleague Devin Scillian, adding that she felt suicidal.

She speaks of texting her husband that "I feel like going into the lake and drowning. I was so depressed. I couldn't go from my room to my refrigerator."

The Novi resident finally had the implants removed in a surgery procedure in Costa Rico and feels totally better.

Gary also recalls covering traffic from the Local 4 chopper and suffering a brain fog, causing her to mess up cues. At the time, she blamed it on "being an airhead."
