Police say it was all over a woman's phone number.
Two men at the Detroit One Coney Island on Woodward Avenue near Mack in Detroit's Midtown argued early Wednesday over getting a woman's phone number. Bickering became bloodshed as they both pulled out guns and started shooting.
One man was shot and wounded in the leg, reports Nia Harden of WXYZ. The other fled.
At least 10 shots were fired in the crowded coney, but no other customers were hit.
The wounded man is hospitalized in temporary serious condition.
The man who fled is described as a light-skinned black man, 5'11" to 6' tall, about 220 pounds, with dreads and a goatee. He has wearing a gold rosary around his neck.
