It has taken a while for a Detroit sportswriter to say what Jeff Seidel does in the Detroit Free Press:
For years, the Detroit Lions were always missing something.
They didn’t have a running game.
Or they didn’t have an offensive line that could protect Matthew Stafford.
Or they didn't have players who could stay away from making bonehead decisions.
But right now, they seem to have all the pieces, and they all came together in a 32-21 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
