And now comes Vice President Mike Pence, who will be in Waterford Township on Monday afternoon at the Oakland County International Airport to rally for gubernatorial candidate Bill Schuette, Senate candidate John James, 11th Congressional District Candidate Lena Epstein and 8th Congressional District Candidate Mike Bishop, WXYZ reports.
Later, Pence flies to Grand Rapids with Schuette and James for a Monday night rally.
On Friday, former President Barack Obama spoke at a rally at Cass Tech High School in Detroit.
This comes just days after former President Barack Obama was in Detroit campaigning for Gretchen Whitmer, Debbie Stabenow, Elissa Slotkin and Haley Stevens.
The race for governor is tightening, according to the latest Detroit Free Press/EPIC MRA poll, which shows Whitmer has 46-percent support compared to Schuette's 41 percent.
