The colorful Charlie LeDuff, a regular contributor to Deadline Detroit, is expanding his broadcast footprint.
LeDuff, who recently launched a weekly podcast, "The Charlie LeDuff No BS News Hour!" on the DrewMikePodcast network, is now expanding his audience by re-airing the podcast on 910AM Superstation every Monday from 4-5 p.m. The first show on the station aired last week."
"I'm happy they're running the podcast," says LeDuff, a former reporter for Fox 2, The Detroit News and The New York Times. His bykine also has been in The New Yorker magazine.
Listeners are enthused about the podcast, station owner Kevin Adell. "It's great," he says. "A lot of people are contacting the station. They want more content from Charlie."
It airs in the afternoon because in the morning "it would be like drinking straight vodka or terpentine."
To comply with federal broadcast regulations, more than a few curses need to be bleeped out Adell acknowledges.
