The Southeast Michigan Coalition of Governments (SEMCOG) lists the most dangerous intersections in Metro Detroit, based on 2017 accidents. Here they are in order crashes, via Kim Russell of WXYZ:
- Center Line: Van Dyke and 11 Mile roads on both sides of I-696
- Canton: Ford and North Lilley roads
- Canton: Ford and Haggertty roads
- Farmington Hills: Orchard Lake and 12 Mile roads
- Southfield: Southfield and 11 Mile roads
