I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need . . .

Rico Razo and companion. He's deputy director of the city's Bridging Neighborhoods Program.

The 60-foot decorated tree, the colorfully lit ice rink, the pine-decked winter market tents all beckon as photo opportunities -- particularly for lovebirds who may say, sing or think:

Aww-worthy scenes of comfort and joy are posted on Instagram, showing the festive mood of a sparkling, charming city center. We share 10 more warm moments below from the past week as a way of making spirits bright for you too.

This gallery, now a three-year-old feature, will be followed by at least one more in coming weeks – so we welcome readers’ shots. Share your pose via Facebook, Twitter or email with each person’s name (just the first is OK, if preferred) and city.
