You know how the Internet works: One minute, you're watching a video of an actor and a coach talk to a group of young men at the Motown Museum, giving friendly, frank advice on career and education. You're thinking, how nice of Keegan-Michael Key and former coach Craig Robinson to take the time to talk to these kids, offering their adult perspective to these guys just starting on their paths, and then, whoa! In walks Robinson's sister, the one and only Michelle Obama!

She's in town for her book tour, of course, and will appear tonight at Little Caesars Arena Wow, that's so cool. And then, you . . . scroll . . . down.

Never scroll down after watching the video. Never read the comments. But sometimes, you can't help it.

WDIV should police its comment sections, particularly when grammar-challenged Deplorables are slagging the former First Lady. We thought Deadline Detroit's got smelly sometimes. The open racism of these yahoos is something to see, and then you think, what sort of loser is reading and commenting on a TV station's website at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday, anyway?

(Besides us, that is.)

So gross. Anyway, Mrs. Obama settled right in with the group, offered some advice of her own about higher ed, why it's important to claim your place in the world. She wants everyone to call her Michelle and doesn't hog the spotlight.

In other words, she's pretty much the same person she's been all along. Whereas the trolls in the comments? They are, too. They go low, she goes high. Later, haters.
