The Works, Detroit's venerable techno music club, is closing at the end of 2018. But there are still opportunities to get in one last trance-dance, Metro Times reports.
The Michigan Avenue building it has grown in for 20 years has been sold. Although the club has a new venue lined up, these last few days are the end of its Corktown era. Shows are planned for Friday, Dec. 28; Sunday, Dec. 30 and a New Year's Eve last-dance celebration.
