Update: A dismissed educator was arraigned Friday on six counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and is at the Oakland County Jail until she can post $200,000 cash bond, Mike Martindale writes at The Detroit News.
"The charges are serious and each carries up to 15 years in prison," [Distriuct Judge Lisa] Asadoorian said. "Conviction on any will likely result in prison." . . .
An Oakland County sheriff’s deputy told Asadoorian that alcohol or drugs were involved in the incidents.

A married Rochester High School teacher, 26, is accused of having sex with two teenage male students, Jessica Dupnack of Fox 2 reports.
Kathryn Houghtaling, a special education teacher, faces charges of six counts of third-degree sexual conduct involving a 16- and 17-year-old. She's fired and is due in court Friday.
Houghtaling had sex with the teens after school in a vehicle off-campus and in an apartment, sources tell FOX 2. One of the alleged victims was among hger students, authorities say.
