Duke is already over it.
A day after getting knocked out of the NCAA tournament by MSU, the athletics department behind the top-seeded hoops team is acting like a dumped ex too quick to resume playing the field. Specifically, the school is looking forward to track and field — pegging its hopes to a shot put recruit that may make that season a little brighter.
The shot putter, to join Duke next year, dominated the athletics department's home page today, where there's little mention at all of Sunday's basketball game. Not even a "congratulations on a season well-played."
Meanwhile, MSU is looking better than ever, celebrating its 10th trip to the Final Four.
