Miguel Cabrera's two out-of-wedlock children have a "right to benefit from his good fortune" as an elite ballplayer, says a Florida judge.

That opinion comes in a drawn-out child support case filed in 2017 by ex-mistress Belkis Rodriguez of Orlando, Tresa Baldas reports at the Detroit Free Press.

Cabrera . . . has been ordered to provide those children with the same lifestyle and opportunities enjoyed by the children from his marriage. . . .

"The court finds that the parties' children should have the same opportunities as the opportunities that the father provides to his three other children that he and his wife share," Orange County Circuit Court Judge Alan Apte wrote in a ruling last month. . . .

A hearing on the final child support order is scheduled for April 30. If prior court filings are any indication, an appeal is likely.

The Tigers slugger and his wife of nearly 17 years, Rosangel, have three children. He earns $30 million a year.

Baldas lists seven items from Apte's order, including $20,000 a month ($240,000 a year) in "unallocated child support" that Rodruiquez can decide how to spend. That's separate from reimbursement for medical, education and recreation expenses.

Cabrera also must buy each child an annual pass to four major Florida attractions -- Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and Orlando Science Center.
