A man managed to fight off two would-be carjackers at a Detroit gas station last week in an incident caught on the video below.

It happened last week at the BP on Conant and Commor, just at the city's border with Hamtramck. Two men wait while the victim is inside the convenience store, then put a gun to his head as he exits and tries to get back into his car. A struggle ensues and the men manage to take control of the vehicle.

The victim starts to walk away, but then, as if a lightbulb has gone off, he runs back to tshow the men he still has his keys. They give up and take off on foot.

Police are looking for the suspects. Anyone with a tip can call DPD at (313) 596-2555 or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAK-UP.
