Naked man at Detroit airport finds novel way to clear the metal detector

We've heard of traveling light, but this is ridiculous.

A man tried to go through security at the Detroit Metro airport at 5:30 a.m. -- a taxing hour for anyone -- stark naked, the Free Press reports:

Early Friday morning, a man walked up to a DTW security checkpoint, took off his clothes, and removed a security barrier to approach a metal detector.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA officials stopped the man, who did not have a boarding pass, from walking through the detector.

The man was easily apprehended and taken to a local hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
