Ex-Tigers star Justin Verlander, who now plays for a real major league team, the Houston Astros, pitched the third no-hitter of his career.
JV smoked the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday in Toronto, where he got a standing ovation.
Verlander was classic Verlander, striking out 14 batters in the 2-0 victory. Toronto’s fans were happy to appreciate an awesome moment in baseball history.
