With sale of recreational marijuna just around the corner, Wayne County airs a TV spot, "Wayne County Blunt Facts," on the dos and don'ts of consuming the product.
During the 30-second commercial (below), a hip-looking young man goes over guidelines for medical marijuana. Because of the timing, it's clearly aimed as recreational use as well.
"Wayne County it's time to get blunt about medical marijuana," the man says. "Because there's a time and place to use safely."
"Pregnant. Don't even think about it," he says. "It's a baby."
Then he holds up a set of vehicle keys and says: "Driving high, not gonna fly."
Recreational sales in Michigan begin the week after Thanksgiving. It was set to begin Dec. 1, but could be delayed by a couple of days.
