Henderson: Here's What Romney Should Have Said About Car Industry
If Mitt Romney were acting like an adult, and not some guy running for president, his take on the auto industry would be less delusional and more nuanced, writes Stephen Henderson of the Free Press.
A leader would chart the way forward, rather than continue to plow over old, divisive ground, according to Henderson. I think it's how we'd expect a president to act.
Instead, we've heard Romney flim and flam about what he said about the auto industry in 2008. And now, incredulously, he wants to claim credit for the resurgence of General Motors and Chrysler, saying it was his idea to push them through bankruptcy.
That's obviously a lie, and a pretty big one.
