Clinton Township police are investigating a body found Sunday morning in a retention pond at a Jewish cemetery in Clinton Township.
The body was found at the Hebrew Memorial Park on Gratiot Avenue north of 14 Mile Road, The Macomb Daily reports.
"The body was bloated and decomposed but there was no sign of anything suspicious," said Capt. Richard Maierle. tells the publication "We're going to have to wait to see what the ME finds out during the autopsy and then we'll go from there."
Authorities said the person may have fallen in the pond or committed suicide.
