Inge Sanity: Brandon Hits 3-Run Homer to Help Beat Tigers 11-4
No, someone didn't slip a hallucinogenic in your Bud Light.
Brandon Inge really is hitting off the chart.
He did it again Friday night, lifting a three-run homer into the stands in left-center field in the bottom of the sixth to help the Oakland A's topple the Tigers 11-4 in Oakland.
How crazy is that?
So crazy, one fan held up a sign during the game that read: "Inge Sanity." We concur.
Thursday night, he hit a grand slam homer. Ditto a couple nights earlier.
After the game Friday night, during an interview with Fox Sports, he was all smiles. But he didn't seem to rub it in that he was doing so well against his old team.
"They're part of my family," he said affectionately. -- A.L.
