A Wayne County judge facing allegations he impregnated a woman who had an ongoing case in his court has had his pay suspended by the Michigan Supreme Court, the Detroit News reports.

The court announced Friday that Wayne Circuit Judge Wade McCree's pay suspension was effective immediately and it "will be held in escrow pending the final resolution of these disciplinary proceedings."

The high court also granted a motion to seal McCree's case file.

McCree had been placed on administrative leave in December. Last year, he was also censured for texting shirtless photos of himself, an issue that could be investigated by the Judicial Tenure Commission.

Both stories were first reported by Charlie LeDuff of Fox 2 Detroit.
