I-75 Victim Jennifer Scavone Pressed Charges Against Ex-BF in Juvenile Grope Case
Hours before Jennie Scavone was found shot to death on Interstate 75 in Detroit, the father of one of her children entered a guilty plea to a sex charge involving a juvenile relative in a case in which Scavone was a complaining witness, Mitch Hotts reports in the Macomb Daily.
Does that make him a person of interest in Scavone’s slaying? Hotts asked.
Michigan State Police said that is a possible scenario on their radar, but stopped short of providing specifics as the investigation continues.
“We’re narrowing things down, but I think the investigation is moving along,” said Lt. Michael Shaw.

The alleged July 15 incident in Sandusky came to light after the boy told his mother what had happened, deputies said.
The mother called Roseville police, who in turn called social workers to interview the boy.
The boy told investigators the attack happened at Quality Inn on Cleveland Road after he and Zbercot finished a round of bowling on taco night at the Thirsty Pony, a Sandusky police report said.
“When they got done bowling, (Zbercot) was really drunk,” the boy told investigators. “He said (Zbercot) started to throw money at him ...”
While at the bowling alley, Zbercot drank several beers, a bottle of Jagermeister and a smaller bottle of Grey Goose vodka, the boy told investigators.
At about 1 a.m. the boy and Zbercot went to a hotel room. At that point Zbercot was stumbling drunk, according to the police report.
Once inside the room, Zbercot started to wrestle with the boy, the report said.
“(Zbercot) told him there were some places that someone might bite you when you’re in a fight,” the report said.
Zbercot then proceeded to bite the boy twice, according to a report.
“(The boy) started to cry and (Zbercot) stopped,” the boy told investigators.
Minutes later, Zbercot allegedly forced the boy to grope him.
