Bing: "I Could Have Died"

A healthy looking Mayor Dave Bing told WXYZ-TV about the seriousness of his health scare that kept him away from city hall. 

"I'm doing much better. I went in for a colonoscopy and that created a problem for me. And I went about eight weeks without knowing I had a hole in my colon. If I had not been in the condition that I was in, physical condition...the doctors are now telling me just how terrible that could have been. I mean, I could have died from it."
