Detroit's Own Bob Seger to Perform Tonight on NBC's 'The Voice'

NBC's  "The Voice" show will get a sampling of one of Detroit's legends, Bob Seger.

Brian McCollum of the Detroit Free Press reports that Seger will sing in the season finale of show tonight that involves singing competition.

McCollum writes:

Bob Seger has been enlisted for the season finale of the NBC singing competition, his manager confirmed this evening. The Detroit rocker will perform with the Swon Brothers, the Oklahoma duo who drew acclaim -- and a Top 10 iTunes showing -- for last week's performance of Seger's "Turn the Page."

It's a rare prime-time showcase for the 68-year-old Hall of Famer, who's a month off the road from his latest North American tour.
