Neavling's site is called Motor City Muckraker," and the first "edition" contains a story about the ruins of the Detroit police crime lab, a story that Neavling originally broke while he was working as a city hall reporter for the Free Press.

Neavling reports today that crime lab that Police Chief Ralph Godbee pledged to guard from further problems is now open to trespass. Scrappers have begun removing metal, and the former elementary school is now a virtual mural for graffiti artists in historic Brush Park.
