Brooks Patterson to Bob Ficano: Suicide is painless, brings on many changes

Brooks Patterson is the last of a breed. Unlike your spit-shined, image-managed politicians who rarely go off message, Brooks pretty much just says whatever the hell pops into his mind. Like this morning when told WJR's Frank Beckmann that Wayne County Executive Bob Ficano's only escape is to commit suicide, which, as we learned from MASH, is painless. 

Freep: "Go in the garage, pull the door down, leave the engine running," Patterson said with a laugh, as Ficano, another guest on the program, looked on.
