Kid Rock can rest easy as he goes on stage tonight at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colo. A suspect is in custody back here in this week's apparent burglary attempt at his Independence Township home-studio.
A day after the singer asked fans to call if anyone recognized security camera photos of the gate-smashing van and its driver, suburban deputies picked up a 43-year-old man, The Detroit News reports.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department arrested the man and confiscated his 1994 Ford Club Wagon van which police say he used to force open the gated driveway to the property. The man is currently being held in the Oakland County Jail.
He is expected to be arraigned Monday.

Kid Rock, currently in Denver on his Rebel Soul Tour, offers a $5,000 bounty for information leading to the arrest of a man who tried to break into his Independence Township property this week.
He also has a blunt message to the perp: "Don't Mess with a Motherfucker Like Me."
"Thank God I was not on the property at the time," the touring rocker posts from out West. "I take the invasion of my personal space very seriously."
That stark headline is a atop three security camera photos showing what appears to be a 1990s Ford Club Wagon van (image below), as well as a suspect using two crutches.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office says that after the white van rammed an entry gate around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, the man tried to break into a studio at the residential compound.
The singer's online statement, posted Friday on his website home page, gives a suspect description -- and more:
Suspect wanted for trespassing, destruction of property and attempted home invasion in Clarkston, MI. Please help the Oakland County Sheriff identify and capture this man. White male. Late 40's - early 50's. Receding hairline. Mustache. Sideburns. Smoker. May have crutches.
Last seen in the area of M-15 (Ortonville Road) and Hubbard (just north of I-75) Wednesday afternoon, July 31, 2013 around 4:15 p.m.
Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break-in. I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives.
