WDIV-TV is welcoming a new show to its morning lineup. "Live in the D" will debut Monday, August 12 at 11AM and will be hosted by WDIV anchors Guy Gordon and Karen Drew.
The show "will focus on local and national news and will explore the intersections of culture, entertainment and lifestyle, and how it affects life in Metro Detroit," according to WDIV. It sounds a little bit newsy, a little bit talk showy, a the hosts are very excited, according to the video below.
Evrod Cassimy, a Denver transplant, will replace Gordon as anchor for the early morning news, which will be renamed "Local 4 News Today."
