Detroit-based start-up Rapt.fm launched full-time usability this week, after months of testing the operation online for only a few hours a week.
The site allows users to perform in and watch freestyle rap battles over the internet -- think videochatting with a background beat. It was previously open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9PM to 12AM, but will now work 24/7.
The fledgling company has already helped find opening artists for this summer's Oakaloosa music festival and signed a deal with Tommy Boy Entertainment, after participating in the Bizdom accelerator earlier this year.
The full-time site is still in testing mode as the company looks for $500,000 in seed funding.
