Could Detroit Lose Fed Housing Funds Because It's Moving Too Darn Slow?

Here's a mind twister: Detroit, Highland Park, Pontiac and other Michigan cities, which are in dire straights, could lose millions of dollars in federal aid to rebuild neighborhoods dotted with abandoned and foreclosed properties if they don't spend the money in the next nine months, the Freep reports.
