New Life For Geodesic Domes Behind The Train Station

Workers are transforming the two connected geodesic domes on W. Vernor from a vacant home into a party space, Curbed Detroit reports.
The pale blue domes are the former home of Leo Gillis, brother of expat Detroit musician Jack White.
The event space will use the entry dome as one grand room. The rear dome will be more divided and will house the bathrooms, catering kitchen, and other equipment. The second-floor porch area between the domes will be glassed-in.
