Playoff Tickets To Nowhere Have Lions Fans Feeling . . . Well, Blue

December 23, 2013, 2:07 PM

Jeff Naz, a Ford Field season ticket holder from Port Huron, likely speaks for more than a few fans -- if that word still applies -- as he tweets this response to getting two playoff tickets in the mail today:

Thank you @DetroitLionsNFL for rubbing it in more after yesterday!

Another recipient of the useless souvenir, a Rockford, Mich., resident identifying himself only as Tim, also isn't feeling One Pride after Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Giants. He tweets displeasure that his advance payment to reserve postseason seats won't be returned:

Guess what? Lions office won't refund mine - says applied to next year, regardless if I renew. Horrid organization.

Michael Happy of Grosse Pointe Woods posts on Facebook:

Dear Detroit Lions: Please return the $200 I sent you a couple of weeks ago for my mythical playoff tickets. There's not a chance in hell I'll be using it as a deposit for 2014 season tickets.

Barring a policy change, he and others apparently may not have a choice about that.
