5+ Lovely Things To Do In Detroit This Weekend

February 14, 2014, 12:35 PM

Ice Skating And Thai Food

Head on over to Clark Park Friday night for some outdoor ice skating. A $10 donation to support the park gets you ice skates and a local brew. Plus, a new Thai food truck called Tuktuk-Tuktuk will be nearby.

See the details here.

The Dirty Show Is Still Happening

There are two days left to see Detroit's erotic art exhibit. This year, the show lives at the Russell Industrial Center.

Tickets are $25.

Eat Your Veggies

Sorry that doesn't sound more fun. But, Eater Detroit reminded us this week that Detroit's got a bunch of great vegetarian options, including the fairly new Topsoil inside of MOCAD. This weekend's a good a time as any to try them out.

Free Movie At The Redford

The Redford Theatre loves you. For Valentine's Day, they're giving metro Detroit three free showings of Casablanca.

Finding a gin joint to hang out in afterwards is on you.

Run Around In Your Underwear

It's Valentine's Day, which means it's also time for Cupid's Undie Run, a fundraiser that sends a bunch of partially naked Detroiters running around downtown in order to raise money for the Children's Tumor Foundation.

Registration is closed, but there's nothing stopping you from unofficially joining the party. See it Saturday afternoon.

Bonus: a mini history museum launches in Eastern Market.
