A fire broke out in a room above PJ’s Lager House in Corktown late Monday evening, Steve Neavling reports on Motor City Muckraker.
Firefighters were called to the popular bar on Michigan Avenue near downtown after an upper-level flat caught fire at 10:40 p.m.
No human injuries were reported, but firefighters said three cats were killed after failed attempts to resuscitate them.
