DDOT Bus Driver Dies After Crashing Into East-Side Cleaners

A DDOT bus driver was killed Tuesday morning when his bus crashed into a dry cleaners on Detroit's east side, WDIV reports. Several passengers were injured.

The bus crashed into Sanders Dry Cleaners on E. Warren Avenue and Nottingham shortly before 7 a.m. 

DDOT Director Dan Dirks confirmed the death to WDIV, and said the crash is under investigation.

One rider is hospitalized in temporary serious condition, WXYZ reports.

The driver's name was not immediately released.
