Cool things keep keep happening for the choir at Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences, which had a rendition of the song "Happy" go viral.
After twice appearing on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show", the 40-member choir is now being featured singing their rendition of “Happy” as part of a promo for season 12 of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Cassandra Spratling of the Detroit Free Press reports. The video is posted on the show's website.
Spratling reports that the choir director, Angela Kee, saw the video promo for the first time Tuesday.
“When Ellen jumped in and started dancing, it was all so surreal. This famous talk-show host was dancing with our kids. I felt like a proud mom. And then to see the clip today, all I could do was grin from ear to ear. The kids really did Detroit proud.”
