December 11, 2016, 9:23 PM

The snowy Sunday wasn't ideal for travel by land or air.

A Delta plane slid off a taxiway and into the grass while landing at Detroit Metro Airport Sunday morning, Brian Manzullo of the Detroit Free Press reports. None of the 65 passengers or five crew members were injured. Passengers lett from a rear stairway, as a Twitter photo shows below.

The flight from Buffalo was scheduled for arrival at 11:27 a.m.

Delta issues a statement:

"The Airport Authority and Delta Air Lines worked together to safely deplane the passengers and transport them to the terminal. Delta Air Lines is assisting any passengers impacted by the incident. The cause is under investigation."
