Trump Endorses Michigan's John James for U.S. Senate, Calls Him 'Spectacular'

President Donald Trump, who is part of the conversation in the Michigan races this year, has jumped into fray in the U.S. Senate race. He endorses West Point graduate John James, an Iraq war combat veteran, for the GOP nomination in the Aug. 7 primary. 

James and Republican opponent Sandy Pensler attacking each other for not being loyal to Trump, while at the same time playing up their own allegiance to the president.

Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow is favored to win a fourth term this fall.
