The Cass Community Social Services in Detroit on Saturday night hosts a night of storytelling titled "Voices From Cass Community: Stories of Transformation."
The stories will come from people served by the nonprofit. Satori Shakoor from the Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers will emcee.
Cass Community Social Services provides food, housing, health services and job programs. Proceeds go to its Arts Sanctuary, a new space for music, art, drama and writing.
The event is at Cass Community United Methodist Church, 3901 Cass Ave.
Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door. VIP tickets are also available for $40.
