Verizon Wireless customers in parts of Michigan have been been unable to send calls and texts as the company experiences intermittent outages.
The website DownDetector is showing a big red circle over everything from the Thumb down into northern Ohio and Indiana.
The DailyMail reports the outage has affected different parts of the country for two days. The company hasn't yet estimated when it will return to full service.
Verizon acknowledges the issue on Twitter.
Sorry to hear about the issues with service in Michigan. Some customers, primarily in the Midwest area, are currently experiencing interruptions in 4G LTE services. Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it quickly. ^RSM
