As if infants with curled fingers, tiny toes and scrunched faces aren't aww-inspiring enough, check out the adorableness this week at Henry Ford Health System's main site in Detroit.

Nurses and technicians crocheted and sewed mini-costumes that bring Halloween cheer to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, brightening family visits and creating keepsake photos of newborns' first holiday.

There are witches, ladybugs, a ballerina, a mermaid, a bunny, a pumpkin, a unicorn and even a police baby.

"These little warriors are ready for their first Halloween," the hospital's social team posts on Facebook. "Aren’t they boo-tiful!?"

Yup, they surely are -- as these 15 photos confirm:

Jason looks ready for the holiday in overalls and a jaunty hat.

This tiny ballerina catches a nap.

Two witches cast a charming spell.

Hula dancing can be exhausting, especially at this age.

This mermaid even has an octopus companion.

It wouldn't be Halloween without a pumpkin.

A unicorn awakens.

A baby ladbybug is even more aborable and colorful than a real one.

And here's another of the same species.

The raised tail is a signal of . . . amusement?

Who's a honey bunny?
