With Thanksgiving still ahead on the calendar, it's beginning to feel a lot like January.
Weather forecasters are reporting a cold snap will settle in next week. Temperatures on Veterans Day will reach a high of only 34 degrees, and will drop close to 20 degrees overnight.
As the week progresses, the cold is expected to intensify. Tuesday's high is forecast to be near 28, with a low around 16, while temperatures staying below freezing Wednesday, with a high near 30 and a low of about 23. On the bright side, the skies will be mostly sunny, according to the weather service.
The cold is expected to break mid-November records.
