With one fancy restaurant after another opening in downtown Detroit, it's getting harder to stand out. But none can say they're at this high an altitude. And few can brag about the view like this one.

On Monday, the 71st and 72nd floors of the state's tallest building -- GM Renaissance Center -- will be home to two restaurants, a bar with food and an event space all known as Highlands Detroit, reports Melody Baetens of The Detroit News

The anchor will be the Highland Steakhouse, a classic-style restaurant.

Additonally, Baetens writes that there's a Scotch-centric lounge called High Bar. That will have a whole menu available, though it's designed for pre- or post-dinner cocktails and small, delicate desserts. Then there's a casual restaurant, Hearth 71, which will feature vegetables, roasted meats, dips, cheese and charcuterie.

And on the 72nd floor is "an epic event space," as the business puts it.
